Rotary Screw Compressors

Description :

Rotary screw compressor is a type of gas compressor that uses rotary type positive displacement mechanism. Its mainly used for large industrial applications and to operate high power air tools. Its also used to replace piston compressors for large industrial applications because of the gas compression of a rotary screw is continuous sweeping motion so there is little pulsation or surge of flow unlike piston compressors

Size :

Sizes range from 10 cubic feet/min to several thousand CFM. They are used in applications where airflow requirement is more than produced by reciprocating compressors but less than produced by centrifugal compressors.

Piston Compressors

Description :

The reciprocating piston compressor is the most widely used equipment for gas service. The basic design consists of a piston in a cylinder with pressure actuated check valves to control suction and discharge flow through the cylinder. Standard practice is to have the piston driven by a rod passing through a packing case to seal against pressure leaks. With this double acting design, gas can be compressed on both sides of the piston. The basic design is more than a hundred years old, and is well developed. The throughput and loading can be adjusted by speed variation, addition of clearance to the cylinders, deactivating cylinders to reduce displacement or active control of valve closing, which effectively gives variable control of displacement. Efficiencies of this type of compressor can be more than 85 percent for conversion of horsepower input to pressure rise.

These units cover a wide capacity range from 3 m³ / min g to 176 m³ / min g & pressure range from 1 Kg / cm² to 400 Kg / cm². Compressors up to 6 stage with pressure range up to 400kg/cm2, on a turnkey basis - from techno-commercial consultation to commissioning on site.

Oil Free Air Compressor

Description :

In an oil-free compressor, the air is compressed entirely through the action of the screws, without the assistance of an oil seal. They usually have lower maximum discharge pressure capability as a result.

Size :

Multi-stage oil-free compressors, where the air is compressed by several sets of screws, can achieve pressures of over 150 psig, and output volume of over 2000 cubic feet (56.634 cubic meters) per minute (measured at 60 °C and atmospheric pressure).

Industrial Applications :

Description :

High pressure compressor units are complete units for filling air tanks in the high pressure ranges PN 200 and PN 300 bar. The compressors are mainly used to compress air for breathing as required in diving and fire fighting applications, for instance. The heart of this unit is formed by a three-- or four stage, air--cooled high pressure compressor block.

High Pressure Air and Gas Compressor

Description :

Size :

Suction pressure anywhere from atmospheric to 20 bar and will deliver air or gas at any pressure from 10 to 400 bar with flow rates from 250 to 2000 m3/h.
